The Ipoh Emergency Critical Care Society (IECCS) was founded in 2015 as the Ipoh Emergency Medicine Society (IEMS), with a vision to elevate emergency healthcare across Malaysia. Headquartered in Ipoh, Perak, we are a not-for-profit professional body made up of clinicians, educators, and medical innovators.
IECCS plays a pivotal role in building a networked ecosystem for emergency and critical care education. Through local and regional partnerships, we advocate for hands-on training, academic collaboration, and high-impact symposiums that shape the next generation of emergency professionals.
Our mission is to equip frontline healthcare providers with the skills, mindset, and tools to save lives in the most critical moments. From PoCUS and airway mastery to NECCS and bronchoscopy, we champion practical learning that translates directly into patient care.
With growing involvement across ASEAN, IECCS leads through action — ensuring every emergency department and prehospital team is empowered to respond with precision, compassion, and clinical excellence.
